NIOT Movie Night

Many neighbors came out to watch two inspiring movies and to engage in productive dialogue about how to ensure Cheverly is a welcoming community and that our community remains mindful of ways intolerance and hate can corrode and damage a community. The two films: “Not in Town- Billings,” and “Light in the Darkness,” were produced by the anti-hate organization, Not In Our Town (NIOT) and highlighted the respective communities’ response and action when hateful actions infected their communities.

The brand new Glenridge Middle School is under construction!  The Forum led neighbors in a discussion about middle school advocacy opportunities for our community, including the possibility of a school-based community health center to be located in the new Glendridge Middle School.
